Peek Inside The New Opulent Gold-toned Fendi Flagship Boutique In Sydney

Fendi has opened a new flagship boutique on the corner of Elizabeth Street and Market Street, in the heart of Sydney. Located in the Queen’s Club heritage building, it marks the Italian luxury fashion house’s first flagship boutique in Sydney.

Spanning over 255sq, the boutique houses both menswear and womenswear RTW collections, as well as accessories and leather goods. Upon first glance, the façade captures the refined opulence we’ve come to expect from Fendi, through a unique sculpture made with a gold lacquered glass finish and champagne metal details. Inspired by the dynamism of Sydney, the façade incorporates a contemporary interpretation of the Fendi Pequin motif, with the striped pattern reflected through cantilever awning with alternated polish and satin glass panels divided by LED lights, resulting in gleaming reflections when the sun hits.

Step inside the boutique and you’ll find Fendi’s iconic Peekaboo bags housed in a jewel-like cube finished in gold polished glass. The space itself takes on the Maison’s refined design aesthetic, with Italian Arabescato Vagli marbled floors and columns reminiscent of Roman churches. Bathed in warm light with plenty of gold and champagne-toned finishes, the boutique is replete with Fendi design codes whispered throughout the building; a recreation of the FF logo designed by Karl Lagerfeld makes the ideal background for Fendi’s seasonal collections.

A connecting ViC room takes on an Art Nouveau style, with floral carpets and bamboo displays. All in all, the new Fendi flagship boutique brings a hint of Italian luxury to Sydney.
