1966 Shelby Mustang GT350H

The 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350H Is A Beast

The result of a somewhat unlikely collaboration between Ford and rental car company Hertz, this 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350H is one of just 1000 models produced. Sold by Bring A Trailer late last year, this particular vehicle was purchased in 1967 by a private owner who kept it for 37 years, before selling it to the previous owner who commissioned it for a multi-year restoration. Changes made included repainting the car in its original shade of Raven Black with yellow-gold stripes that resemble that of the Hertz logo, refreshing the interior, and rebuilding the brakes and suspension.

Pop the hood and you’ll find a numbers-matching 289 cubic-inch HiPo V8 engine. Controlled by a three-speed automatic transmission, this model has just over 100,000km on its odometer.
