The 2022 Bentley Continental GT Speed Is Luxury Touring At Its Finest

Steeped in rich racing history, British marque Bentley has unveiled the new Bentley Continental GT Speed, touting it as “the most dynamic road car in Bentley’s 101 year history.” The third generation of Speed models, the first of which debuted in 2007, the 2022 Bentley Continental GT Speed continues the bloodline by creating a seamless amalgam of high performance and luxury in a grand tourer.

The ‘Speed’ variation brings with it unique detailing set to put the driving experience at the forefront, with a sportier edge designed to appeal to performance-oriented drivers. The 2022 Bentley Continental GT Speed has been fitted with advanced chassis technology specifically developed for the model, with electronic all-wheel steering in Bentley and Comfort modes to enhance the dynamism of the Speed. This is all the more evident when switching to Sport mode, which sees the steering combine with the Bentley Dynamic Drive system and an electronic limited slip differential to provide ultimate control and agility, unparalleled by any other Bentley.

Equipped with an upgraded version of the renowned Bentley 6.0-litre W12 TSI engine, the 2022 Bentley Continental GT Speed delivers 650 hp with 664 ft-lbs of torque. Going from 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds, the GT Speed has a maximum speed of 335km/h.

The GT Speed takes the muscular aesthetic DNA of the Continental GT and amplifies it, adding its own unique detailing to create an exterior that communicates athletic power and Bentley’s signature elegance. The Speed arrives with a dark tint radiator grille and lower bumper grille, as well as sculpted sports sills and a dark tint radiator matrix. Discreet Speed branding in chrome features on the front fender, with the option of a black gloss, dark tint, or bright silver finish for the 22” Speed wheels.

Naturally, the luxury extends inside the GT Speed. A duotone color split handcrafted in hide and matching Alcantara is applied to the seats and steering wheel, with the option for personalisation with the choice of 15 main and 11 secondary hide colours.
