1 MONCLER JW ANDERSON

The 1 Moncler JW Anderson Collection is One For The Wayfarers

The constant state of being indoors doesn’t seem to have caused any form of agoraphobia in the fashion world, with everyone from Gucci and Saint Laurent to Bally looking to nature for inspiration (although Prada took a more existential turn with their pandemic-induced musings). As the constant yearning for travel has caused us to find solace in the great outdoors, the 1 Moncler JW Anderson collection is a timely one.

Part of the Moncler Genius project, which serves as a means to fuse Moncler’s design DNA and incomparable style with a diverse range of designers, 1 Moncler JW Anderson marks Johnathan Anderson’s second Genius collaboration with the Italian luxury fashion house. Titled ‘A Nomadic Voyage’, the collection conjures up feelings of adventure and exploration.

Striking the ideal balance between JW Anderson’s distinctly British heritage appeal and Moncler’s flair for technical form, the 1 Moncler JW Anderson collection features signature JW Anderson pieces with a Moncler touch.

Colour-blocked hoodies, sweatshirts, and knitwear items are cut from a sustainable regenerated nylon material called Econyl and emblazoned with both labels’ logos stacked atop each other. Signature JW Anderson colours come into play across the entirety of the collection, while co-branded outerwear and monochrome nylon dresses serve to balance out the lineup. In addition to apparel, Moncler and JW Anderson have collaborated on a crossbody purse, boots, and shopper bags, ensuring that there are pieces for everyone; whether your definition of an adventure entails taking to the mountains or braving the arduous journey to the grocery store.

The collection is available to shop on the Moncler webstore
