Created by Rihanna in collaboration with 22-year-old model, hip-hop artist, and Fenty brand ambassador Christian Combs (yes, that’s P. Diddy’s son), the new Savage x Fenty range focuses on men’s underwear and loungewear.

“I wanted to create men’s wear styles that everyone can wear,” Rihanna said in a statement. “And after Christian did such a great job at the 2019 fashion show wearing men’s, I knew we had to have him as a collaborator.”
Heavily inspired by Comb’s own ’90s NYC street style, the Savage x Fenty menswear collection includes jewel toned briefs, logo-laden boxers, and a satin pyjama set with a wrap-around smoking jacket style top. The decision to add more colour to the originally more neutral range can be attributed to Combs, with Cam Wolf from GQ surmising “swag doesn’t come in grayscale, so Savage X Fenty underwear arrives in blue and silky red. Even many of the more conservatively colored pieces in black come with pops of bubblegum pink.”
The menswear capsule will go live on the Savage x Fenty website on the 2th October.
