The New Tommy x Lewis Drop Is Low Impact & Environmentally-Friendly

Making streetwear sustainable.

With a slew of collections together, it’s difficult to believe that the first collaboration between American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and British Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton only took place in 2018. The duo appear to be natural collaborators, with the Tommy x Lewis collabs seeing Hilfiger and Hamilton fusing their individual styles to create their own unique brand DNA.

Tommy Hilfiger’s iconic silhouettes and heritage brand colours are imbued with Lewis Hamtilton’s distinct street style, providing the American fashion designer’s pieces with a newfound edge.

Their fifth collab is in line with Tommy Hilfiger’s “Waste Nothing and Welcome All” motto for 2020, as well as the pair’s mission to utilise sustainable materials, with the Fall 2020 collection featuring 100% recycled denim and 80% organic cotton and post-consumer recycled materials in almost all of the pieces.

“Evolving as a designer and collaborator through the Tommy x Lewis collections has been such an incredible journey,” Lewis Hamilton said of the collection in a press release. “Over the last five seasons, I have loved working with Tommy to push boundaries, take creative risks and capture my personal sense of style in our designs. Our new Fall 2020 collection embodies everything we stand for – from authentic self-expression to inclusivity and sustainability – while building on the Tommy x Lewis aesthetic we have cemented. We could not be prouder of what we have created together.”
