Glenfiddich Grand Cru Is A Whisky For The Avant-Garde Celebration

Typically, a celebration is marked with popping open a bottle of champagne or pouring out a measure of scotch. Rarely both. However, Glenfiddich have reimagined the celebratory beverage, unveiling their newest expression; Glenfiddich Grand Cru. A single malt matured for 23 years and finished in French cuvée oak casks, Glenfiddich Grand Cru synthesises the unique flavours of Scotland and France in one luxurious tipple.

According to Glenfiddich, “Grand Cru has been uniquely crafted with a surprising delight at every sip for those tearing up the rule book and wanting to celebrate significant life moments in a whole new way.”

Every drop of Grand Cru is the result of up to six months of marrying time, adding depth with a myriad of aromas; think apple blossom, candied lemon, and freshly baked bread. On the palate, rich vanilla, sweet brioche, sandalwood, pear sorbet and white grape build a beautiful harmony of flavours, enhanced by a long, opulent finish.

“Glenfiddich is renowned worldwide for its mastery and innovation, so we’re excited to bring that to Australia once more with Grand Cru. In true Glenfiddich style, we’ve continued to experiment and push the boundaries for whisky to create exciting new flavours,” said Ross Blainey, brand ambassador at Glenfiddich. “We experimented to find the optimal maturation and finishing times and hand-selected the right balance of 23-year-old Glenfiddich casks out of our unique collection of old age malts. Marrying the best of both worlds, the final liquid is exquisite and a special tribute to each cuvée cask the malts were finished in.”

Housed in a sleek black glass bottle with golden closure, presented within an opulent black box emblazoned with a sparkling golden firework design, Glenfiddich Grand Cru puts a luxurious spin on the spirit of celebration.
