American Streetwear Meets British Heritage In Supreme x Burberry

For many luxury fashion houses, a collaboration with Supreme is almost a rite of passage. And not without reason. Whether the American skateboarding and lifestyle brand is collaborating with heritage fashion houses like Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Rimowa, and Comme des Garçons, or teaming up with its contemporaries like BAPE and The North Face, slapping that instantly recognisable red Supreme box logo on any kind of collection makes it almost sure to be sold out within hours. Now, after much hinting and allusion on social media, followed by a confirmation post courtesy of rapper A$AP Nast, a Supreme x Burberry collaboration has been confirmed.

Combining the heritage appeal of British fashion house Burberry with Supreme’s distinctly streetwear aesthetic, the Supreme x Burberry collaboration humbles the former brand’s preppy checks for the street. Comprising menswear and womenswear, the collaboration includes a shirt and matching trousers with the all-over Burberry nova check pattern and featuring the British fashion house’s block capital logo and equestrian motif atop the boxed Supreme logo, with A$AP Nast donning this set in his Instagram post.

Other pieces in the Supreme x Burberry capsule include gabardine trench coats, shearling-collar puffer jackets, trucker jackets, rugby shirts, hoodies, jeans, denim shorts, box logo t-shirts, baseball caps, and bucket hats, as well as leather-striped jogging pants and a silk pyjama set exclusive to Burberry stores. Pink and yellow skate decks featuring Supreme branding atop the Burberry Nova check pattern round out the collection.

The Supreme x Burberry collection will be available for purchase via the Supreme webstore from 10th March, with select pieces available exclusively through Burberry
