Millennial Pink Cocktails To Set Yourself Up For A Hot Girl Summer

Although La Niña has somewhat hindered our hopes of a blisteringly hot season, we’re not above a little creative imbibing to evoke that summer feeling. In the spirit of welcoming in long, lazy days, we’re turning to the pros at Australian Distilling Co. for their quintessential warm weather cocktails. The tipple of choice? Why, gin of course.

With pink seemingly the in colour of the season, Australian Distilling Co.’s Rhapsody Ruby Gin is front and centre with this quintessential cocktail quattro. Cheers. 

Ruby Spritz

Ingredients

45ml Australian Distilling Co. Rhapsody Ruby Gin 100ml Fever-Tree Pink Grapefruit Soda

Directions

Simply pour all ingredients into a wine glass filled with ice and garnish with a grapefruit wedge.

Rosemary Gin Fizz

Ingredients

50ml Adelaide Gin
10ml Lemon Juice
10ml Rosemary Syrup Club Soda

Directions

Combine Adelaide Gin, lemon juice and rosemary syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well for at least 15 seconds. Strain into a Collins glass filled with crushed ice and top with club soda. Garnish with a rosemary sprig.

Pink Lady

Ingredients

45ml Brisbane Gin
15ml Applejack
20ml Lemon Juice
7ml Grenadine
1 Egg White

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker without ice and shake well. Add ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Bellarine Sour

Ingredients

45ml Geelong Gin
20ml Lemon Juice
20ml Raspberry Coulis
10ml Egg white

Directions

Combine Geelong Gin, lemon juice, raspberry coulis and egg white in a cocktail shaker without ice cubes. Shake well for at least 15 seconds then add ice cubes and shake well again until chilled. Double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with cracked pepper.
