The holiday season is here and Hailey Beiber is the consummate host in an intimate, elevated Warholian soiree. The Tiffany & Co. x Andy Warhol campaign celebrates the artist’s infamous Factory and love for the holiday season with a short film shot by Mario Sorrenti that sees Christmas trees composed of Tiffany Blue Boxes and guests decked in diamond jewellery.
Inspired by Warhol’s storied history with the American jeweller as well as his own partiality towards the holiday season. Channelling the decadence of nights spent at Warhol’s Factory in downtown New York City, the Tiffany & Co. x Andy Warhol campaign takes place in an expansive space adorned with chic decor with Hailey Bieber the undeniable centre of attention. Guests exchange iconic Blue Boxes, which house covetable gifts such as Jean Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on a Rock brooch.
“This holiday season, we wanted to celebrate Andy Warhol and uplift his connection to Tiffany & Co. by taking inspiration from the iconic greeting cards that he created for our clients in the ’50s and ‘60s,” said Alexandre Arnault, executive vice president of product and communication at Tiffany & Co. “The campaign video brings these elements together by paying homage to our longstanding relationship with one of the world’s most celebrated artists.”
An accompanying photographic campaign lensed by Raymond Meier sees in invariable dewy-skinned Beiber don a selection of Tiffany & Co. jewellery. In addition to the Warholian film, there’s also an exclusive Tiffany & Co. x Andy Warhol limited-edition collection offered through the Tiffany & Co. webstore, with the complete range including everything from tableware to tree ornaments.
The campaign also sees the heritage American jeweller lend its support to the Warhol Foundation, which works to fund contemporary art in the United States.
“In addition to celebrating the timeless creations of Tiffany & Co. and Andy Warhol, this unique collaboration will generously support the Warhol Foundation’s endowment from which it has distributed over $275M in cash grants to visual arts organizations,” said Michael Dayton Hermann of the Warhol Foundation. “The foundation is delighted to draw attention to the enduring power of art with Tiffany & Co. during this ‘Warholiday’ season.”
