The Jacquemus L’AMOUR Campaign Is A Balm For Our Touch-starved Souls

One for the romantics.

By now we know Simon Porte Jacquemus knows how to nail a campaign. Whether it’s a runway show through a lavender field or trailing through wheat crops, the French designer never fails to make a statement. This time, it comes in the form of an intimacy-laden photo series, celebrating the art of love and touch. The Jacquemus L’AMOUR SS21 campaign features a diverse array of couples getting rather well acquainted with each other.

Styled by Zoey Radford Scott and captured by Tom Kneller, the Jacquemus L’AMOUR collection campaign features couples kissing, cuddling, looking into each others’ eyes, or locked in more intimate embraces. Adorning the adoring couples are (naturally) garments from the L’AMOUR collection, which combines slouchy tailoring with the state of semi-undress that has become the norm over the past year.

Reminiscent of the erotically charged campaigns of the ‘90s, Jacquemus’ Indigo denim, cargo pants, relaxed suiting, and branded cotton underwear make the case for the intertwining of sex and really good suiting.
