Since his inception into the music industry just over a decade ago, Tyler, The Creator has become known for his unwavering personal style, displaying an unflinching commitment to straight-legged brown trousers and sweater vests. Now, the rapper is introducing his brand Golf le Fleur to the public. The brand marks the third fashion label for Tyler, following on from releases under his former music collective Odd Future and his skate-inspired brand Golf Wang, both of which were solely based on collaborative efforts.

Thus far Golf le Fleur has also only appeared in collaboration with brands like Lacoste and Converse, the previous week has signalled the dawn of a new era for the brand. Re-emerging as a luxury lifestyle brand encompassing apparel, footwear, accessories, and beauty, Golf le Fleur debuted an intimate pop-up shop in Los Angeles, showcasing its new menswear collection. The brand pivot also sees the introduction of fragrance and nail polish. The latter comes in the form of debut scent French Waltz, developed alongside CPL Aromas, an internationally renowned perfumery house based in the UK.  

A unisex rose-musk fragrance, Golf le Fleur French Waltz is described as evoking the vibe of “dozing off in the garden, using the sun as a towel to dry off the leftover beads of lake water.” In terms of fragrance notes, that translates to a clear, sweet opening of lychee, magnolia, nashi pear, and mandarin, with a heart of mimosa, rose, and white florals. A base of musk and creamy sandalwood underscore the fragrance, adding depth and warmth. 

The debut Golf le Fleur collection is available via the brand’s webstore from 13th December onwards.
