Following the proclamation that “every king needs a tailor,” Zegna and Real Madrid have formed a partnership, with the Italian luxury fashion house acting as the football club’s Official Luxury Travelwear Partner. This means that the football first squad will be decked in exclusive Zegna outfits whenever the occasion calls for a sartorial touch.

The partnership between Zegna and Real Madrid is the latest in a series that sees fashion and football unite off the pitch, with other notable link-ups including Moncler and FC Internazionale Milano, Dior and Paris Saint-Germain, and most recently, MC Milan and Off-White.
Specifically designed for Real Madrid, the inaugural wardrobe will be built upon over time as the seasons pass. The initial offering comprises an overshirt and chore jackets, teamed with jogger bottoms or narrow trousers, crewneck underpinnings, and the signature Zegna triple stitch shoes. A tonal version of Zegna’s new brand sign appears on the upper left pocket of the chore jackets, while the new brand mark — consisting of a double-stripe graphic that nods to the 232 Road that crosses through Oasi Zegna — is being amplified through the collaboration. Oasi Zegna is a free-access natural territory extending 100 square kilometres in Northern Italy, created as a result of the founder’s early commitments to sustainability.
“Real Madrid is a unique football club, the most famous club in the world,” says Alessandro Sartori, artistic director of Zegna. “Creating a luxury leisurewear wardrobe for such an iconic team of football players, and doing it in the traditional made-to-measure way, allowed me to test my ideas with men who truly live the lifestyle we address as Zegna. This makes for an electrifying exchange, in which we both learn from one another.”
