J’adore, Dior Is The Official Tailor For Paris Saint-Germain

Sitting at the intersection of fashion and football is the latest alliance between two French icons; Dior and Paris Saint-Germain. The luxury fashion house is set to take the sartorial capabilities of the football club to new heights with the duo partnering for at least the next two seasons.

Designed by Kim Jones, creative director of menswear at Dior, the PSG wardrobe will include both a formal and casual look in shades of black and deep navy. The casual outfit comprises a Harrington jacket, knitted sweater, polo shirt, trousers, and Dior Explorer derbies, with each piece featuring an embroidered Paris Saint-Germain patch and CD icon branding.

Meanwhile, the formal outfit – for, as PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe puts it in a video showing the team being kitted out in Dior, “It is to wear before the match. Especially for the important games.” – consists of a cashmere coat, jacket, shirt, and trousers, finished off with Dior Timeless cap-toe derbies. For a bespoke twist, the insole of each shoe is embossed with the players’ jersey number.

Players also receive an iconic Dior silhouette in the form of the Saddle bag, as well as a cashmere scarf, a reversible black-and-navy blue belt, and a jacquard tie embroidered with the Paris Saint-Germain logo.

PSG announced the partnership with Dior through a video on the team’s YouTube channel that sees players being fitted in Dior tailoring. Watch the video below.
