Avène has released a new pro-grade skincare line. Developed in collaboration with dermatologists, the Hyaluron Activ Procedure line is designed to translate the results of in-clinic skincare treatments to a simple at-home routine by combining advanced dermatological actives with the French skincare brand’s experitse in dealing with sensitive skin. British cosmeceutical brand Medik8 has released its Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel, a gel-to-foam cleanser designed to support the skin barrier while removing sunscreen, makeup, and impurities. The cleanser makes use of prebiotic inulin to support the skin’s microbiome and fermented rice extract to hydrate and nourish the skin, in combination with what the brand dubs a “smart surfactant system,” a blend of gentle surfactants that create a satisfying lather and cleanse effectively without stripping the skin.
