“We’re unveiling a fresh look for both our permanent collection of rums and our limited-edition versions while maintaining our commitment to exceptional liquid,” explains Appleton Estate Master Blender Joy Spence, adding that “we hope that our new look and blend elevates the high-end cocktail and sophisticated sipping experience while continuing to spread the joy of rum.”
Appleton Estate’s new packaging features a polished redesign of their iconic bottle shape. as well as a new cork closure; making for a more streamlined aesthetic. Beneath the closure, the neck label illustrates the Appleton Estate distillery; located in the heart of Jamaica’s Nassau Valley, followed by an embossed “1749” stamp in the glass, marking the date of Appleton Estate’s establishment. The new bottle labels detail the story of each rum blend and include details on the Estate’s unique distillation process, including the use of Jamaican limestone-filtered water which is vital to the rum’s richer and fuller flavour profile.
In line with their global relaunch, Appleton Estate has introduced a new premium blend; an 8 Year Old Reserve, joining the Estate’s Signature Blend and 12 Year Old Rare Casks Blend. A versatile aged rum, the 8 Year Old Reserve opens with spicy fruit and oak, which make way to reveal hints of honey, vanilla, and Appleton’s signature orange peel.
