Can hypebeasts walk on water? Perhaps, but the well-heeled among them will be cruising around in one of the new Kith x Cigarette Racing powerboats. A somewhat unexpected yet wholly natural collaboration, the New York-based lifestyle brand founded by Ronnie Fieg has teamed up with American luxury powerboat manufacturer Cigarette Racing, which was founded by former real estate developer Don Anorow in 1969.

The latter company’s moniker comes from the ‘Cigarette’ class of boats, which are characterised by their long, narrow shape—built with speed in mind—that Anorow was instrumental in popularising during the 1960s and ‘70s in offshore racing competitions. While originally designed for offshore racing, the brand swiftly bega to compete in races across open water, leading it to expand into creating sleek, durable boats.
Arriving in time for a hot hypebeast summer, the Kith x Cigarette Racing collaboration sees the New York-based lifestyle brand focus its distinct aesthetic lens to three of the latter’s core models: the 515, 42’ X, and 42’ Auroris.

The 515 represents Cigarette Racing’s most advanced model. Churning out 3100 bhp, it’s capable of a top speed of 201km/h. Clad in a black and black metal exterior adorned with the Kith Flight logo and artwork across the top deck, hull, and engine hatch pad, it plays host to co-branded interior details with upholstery in blue and black.

The 42′ X is a high-performance V-bottom powerboat that’s optimised for rough water while keeping speed in mind. Its custom wood airbrush exterior lends it an elegant retro feel, with the Kith for Cigarette Racing Script emblazoned across the rear, top deck and hatch. Creamy leather upholstery on the seating and across the steering wheel—complete with the Kith Crest logo—contribute to its classic appeal.

Finally, the 42′ Auroris sits at the intersection of performance and luxury. Decked out in a custom green exterior with Kith for Cigarette Racing branding along the rear and Kith monogram artwork across the hardtop, it features cream and tan upholstered interiors with Kith logos embossed on the seats and headrests.
The speedboats are priced at $2,600,000USD, $1,600,000USD, and $1,875,000USD for the 515, 42’ X, and 42’ Auroris, respectively. If you aren’t prepared to shell out quite that much for open water thrills just yet, the duo have also released an accompanying capsule collection with co-branded windbreakers, pullovers, shorts, and caps (perfect for wearing on someone else’s luxury powerboat).
