Killer Ride: John Wick’s 1969 Ford Mach 1 Mustang Could Be Yours

One of the lesser-talked about stars of the Keanu Reeves fronted John Wick franchise is the eponymous hitman’s 1969 Ford Mach 1 Mustang; its theft being one of the driving (sorry) factors behind Wick’s violence-laden rampage across New York City in the first film. Now, you can – kind of – own John Wick’s Mach 1 Mustang yourself.

Oklahoma-based workshop Classic Recreations has teamed up with Ford Motor Company to give punters the chance to own their own hitman-approved vehicle. Officially licensed by Ford, the Classic Recreations replicas mark the first-ever turn-key versions of the 1969-1970 Mach 1 Mustang.

Accordingly dubbed the ‘Hitman’, the cars are built from scratch according to customers’ expectations; starting with a 1969 or 1970 Mustang body (with the option for a brand new body licensed by Ford), powered with a 5.0L Ford Coyote V8 engine which produced up to 1000 brake horsepower, the option for manual or automatic Tremec transmission, a Boss 302 intake, coilover front and rear suspensions, sway bars, six-piston Wilwood callipers, and high-performance z-rated tires.

The 1969/1970 Mach 1 Mustang is available in various body colours, including the signature John Wick Hitman Grey/Beagle Black colour scheme. The cinematic classic starts at $184,900, though that price is set to rise depending on customisations.
