The Bridgerton x Pat McGrath Collection Serves Up Regal Maximalism

The immense popularity of Bridgerton spurred a renewed taste for Regency-era dressing, dubbed ‘Regencycore’, with corsets, empire waistlines, and long gloves making their way back into contemporary wardrobes. Now, the trend is coming for your face too, with the Bridgerton x Pat McGrath Labs collection.

Not one for excessive collaboration, Pat McGrath Labs by Dame Pat McGrath has previously teamed up with the Star Wars franchise and Supreme, with the latter taking place in 2020. Exuding classy maximalism, the Bridgerton x Pat McGrath Labs collection puts a contemporary spin on Regency-era skin. The collection consists of an eyeshadow palette, Diamond of the First Water; a blush palette, Love at First Blush; and a highlighter duo, Sublime Skin Highlighter.

The packaging is a definite highlight, with the palette cases adorned in luxurious prints of bows and pearls, while the products themselves feature embossed motifs. The campaign is dually fronted by Ava Philippe and Vinetria Chubbs, both decked out in Regencycore-inspired dresses and gemstone and pearl-encrusted headwear.

“Like so many people, I fell in love at first swoon with Bridgerton,” said Pat McGrath, founder of her eponymous makeup brand. “I have always been obsessed with Regency beauty and was thrilled to interpret the era with a modern homage.”
