Formulated by internationally renowned perfumers like Domitille Michalon-Bertier, Mackenzie Reilly, and Julien Rasquinet, each fragrance derives inspiration from Amouage’s home of Oman, drawing upon its startlingly beautiful nature. The picturesque contours, colours, and unique essence of Oman are evoked in each fragrance, with the aesthetic extending to the packaging in the form of vivid, translucent bottles and artistic boxes.

Described by Renaud Salmon, Amouage Chief Experience Officer, as an “epic fragrance odyssey,” the Renaissance Collection aims to “translate what it means to experience pure joy, unbound by perception.”

Enclave elegantly depicts the freshness encased inside the hot fjords of Musandam through verdant notes of spearmint and cardamom oils, juxtaposed against warm amber, labdanum, cinnamon, and earthy vetiver. Meanwhile, Crimson Rocks captures the peaceful nature of the Al Hajar mountains at dusk, through an intense note of rose, surrounded by cinnamon, jujube honey accord, oakwood, and cedarwood.

Ashore evokes a mirage of the senses, inspired by the coast of Ras Al Jinz in the summer. Heady scents of jasmine, ambergris, and sandalwood provide a sensory interpretation of the union of the sun, sand, and waves, while notes of cardamon and turmeric bring a taste of the spices of India. Finally, Meander depicts the intoxicating joy felt in a land replete with fog, lush green mountains, and running streams. Deriving inspiration from the south of Oman during monsoon season, Meander is brought to life through frankincense and smoky vetiver, rich greens of cypriol and jonquille, as well as earthy notes of sandalwood, carrot heart, and orris root.
