Never one to shy away from unorthodox presentation methods, Maison Valentino continues to delve further into the world of virtual reality and digital design. To commemorate the Valentino Roman Palazzo Collection, the Maison has introduced the second installment of Valentino Insights, an interactive virtual reality environment.
With otherworldly atmospheres housing beautiful architecture and design, Valentino Insights offers a unique way to explore the collection. Virtual rooms host an exclusive NFT artwork by Sara Ludy as well as Valentino on Canvas artwork. Meanwhile, a hidden room showcases the Valentino Rockstud Alcove universe.
The NFT digital artwork Astral Garden by American artist Sara Ludy was exclusively created for Valentino and has now been auctioned off and sold via the Foundation website. Known for her hybrid forms that merge the concepts of nature, being, and simulation to question our relationship with immateriality and consciousness, Ludy’s artwork for Valentino “interprets the new Valentino Roman Palazzo collection and reflects on the nature of hybridized material and form through a multidimensional scroll.” Appropriately, the artwork is presented to visitors of Valentino Insights through a new visual language in the form of a “dedicated room that creates a hybrid world that bridges the gap between virtual and reality.”
