The Audi TT Roadster Final Edition Is A Glorious Green Over Tan Outro

Audi is giving the TT Roadster a fitting farewell. The North American exclusive is limited to 50 examples and features a Goodwood Green pearl effect exterior, nodding to the first-generation model which offered the hue as a series production colour. It’s complemented by a matte grey exterior bumper trim and side profile accents, which match the soft-top roof. The latter features an electrohydraulic drive system that can be deployed in 10 seconds at speeds of up to 50km/h. Eschewing S Line badges on the exterior and interior to provide a more exclusive feel, the Audi TT Roadster Final Edition also swaps the standard brushed aluminium accents for carbon fibre.

The newcomer borrows parts from Audi’s performance lineup, deriving its 20-inch Y-spoke forged alloys from the sporty TTS. The larger wheels are wrapped in oversized 255/30 R20 92Y XL summer tyres, also lifted from the S model. Likewise, the TTS’ Audi magnetic ride suspension system allows for adaptive damping to increase driving dynamics, with a drop in ride height of 10mm.

Under the skin is a 2.0-litre four cylinder turbocharged engine, producing an output of 228 bhp and 258 ft-lb of torque. It feeds power to all wheels through an automatic seven-speed S tronic dual clutch transmission and goes from 0-96km/h in 5.5 seconds.

Inside, the German marque interprets the original TT Roadster’s baseball stitch leather for the modern day. Seats are clad in Palomino Brown leather; coupled with the Goodwood Green pearl effect paintjob it creates a timelessly beautiful combination. An extended leather package sees the door armrests and centre console finished in the same Palomino Brown leather and stitching, while black leather covers the airbag cap and instrument cluster hood.
