The Breitling Premier Heritage Collection Is A Celebration Of Vintage Horology
Old school horology gets a revival in the Breitling Premier Heritage Collection. Paying homage to the three generations of Breitling men who were instrumental in founding and developing the luxury Swiss watchmaker, the Premier Heritage Collection lineup consists of six watches divided into three categories; The Chronograph, The Duograph, and The Datora.
Taking on a 1940s aesthetic in honour of third generation Breitling watchmaker Willy Breitling’s elegant spin on the art, each model features vintage-inspired hands, Arabic numerals, and alligator straps. Plus, all pieces in the collection come with COSC-certified movements and are water resistant for up to 100m.
Like its 1940s predecessors, the 40mm Premier Heritage Chronograph is manually wound. Utilising the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B09, it comes in two variations; a pistachio green dial encased in stainless steel or a silver dial wrapped in 18k red gold.
Similarly, the Premier Heritage Duograph opts for a mechanical hand wound movement, this time in the form of the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B15. it comes complete with the rattrapante function, allowing the wearer to simultaneously measure two elapsed times thanks to its two superimposed chronograph hands. The Premier Heritage Duograph comes in either a blue dial with stainless steel casing or black dial with 18k red gold casing.
Rounding out the lineup is the 42mm Premier Heritage Datora, offered in stainless steel with a copper dial or 18k red gold with a silver dial. Featuring a traditionally configured calendar complete with day, date, and moon-phase displays, the Premier Heritage Datora is powered by Manufacture Caliber B25.
