Proving that timeless and colourful aren’t mutually exclusive concepts, renowned Swiss watch manufacturer Longines has decked out its most elegant lines in bold, monochromatic hues. The Longines DolceVita and La Grande Classique de Longines represent two of Longines’ most distinct lines, famed for their classically refined aesthetic.

Now, Longines has taken a more sartorial approach to both lines, releasing them in five monochromatic shades designed to allow wearers to complement their wardrobe or express themselves by selecting a shade that reflects their mood. The new hues are spring green, carmine red, burnt orange, cobalt blue, and classic black, with the vibrant shades making for the perfect accompaniment to two timeless styles.

Since its inception in 1997, the Longines DolceVita has epitomised the Swiss watch manufacturer’s notion of contemporary elegance. Set within a 23.3mm x 37mm rectangular rhodium-plated case, the bold dial colour pops on each timepiece. Featuring a small-seconds display and matching monochromatic leather strap, the new Longines DolceVita toes the time between playful and elegant.

Meanwhile, the La Grande Classique de Longines pairs an eternally timeless design with fresh shades, with the monochromatic hues serving to enhance the line’s classic elegance. Measuring in at a dainty 29mm case size, each watch sports a polished lacquered dial and a diamond-encrusted bezel.
With both the Longines DolceVita and La Grande Classique de Longines lines representing significant elements of the Longines heritage, the addition of vibrant monochromatic hues offers a unique take on the Longines slogan of “elegance is an attitude.”
