Off-White Unveils New Beauty & Fragrance Brand Paperwork

Something smells Off(-White).

For the late Virgil Abloh, beauty represented the next frontier in self-expression. Conceived prior to his passing in November last year, Off-White is the latest brand to delve into the world of beauty with the launch of Paperwork. Described by Abloh as “another canvas, another surface for human expression,” Paperwork is positioned as an ageless and genderless offering, tapping into the senses of smell, sight, and touch.

Currently, the collection comprises four Solution fragrances, as well as soon-to-be-released Imprint solid face and body pigments, Template stencils, and Color Matter nail polishes. Developed by Abloh in collaboration with perfumers Alexis Dadier, Jerome Epinette, and Sidonie Lancesseur, each of the four fragrances is said to “transmit a palpable vibe.”

Solution No. 1 is a fresh, earthy fragrance that draws from the transient nature of sand, with notes of ho wood, bergamot, vetiver, and patchouli; while Solution No. 2 takes on a joyful tone, with the zesty fragrance utilising tangerine leaves, orange blossom, and vetiver. Solution No. 3 is a sensual yet distinctly contemporary take on traditional rose fragrances, blending damask rose with pink peppercorn and a carnal accord that evokes the feeling of skin-on-skin. Rounding out the pack is Solution No. 4, which contrasts urban environments with nature through woody, eucalyptus, and lavender notes juxtaposed with leather.

The new Paperwork Solution fragrances are available via the Off-White webstore
