Wash Away Your Champagne Problems With Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly

Inherently nostalgic, Juicy Couture conjures up fond memories for those who’ve lived through the late ‘90s and early 2000s. With the return of the velour tracksuit pioneers comes a new sensory offering in the form of Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly by Juicy Couture. Inspired by pink champagne, Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly aims to make every night a night to remember.

While in the past, Juicy Couture scents have tended to veer towards the overly floral, slightly cloying side, Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly strikes the perfect balance between sweet and fresh. Housed in a bottle that is a piece of artwork in itself, the first spritz of Le Bubbly comes out strong, with top notes of champagne, blood orange, pink berries, pink freesia, and fizzy mandarin oil. While Le Bubbly initially appears to be at risk of overpowering the wearer, it dries down quickly, revealing a heart of jasmine, gardenia, and vanilla orchid, underscored by a base of amber, praline, and creamy woods.

Surprisingly, Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly turns out to be more of a skin scent, staying close to the wearer and only being able to be fully enjoyed when you’re within a not-so-socially-distant radius. Standout notes of citrus, creamy woods, jasmine, and sweet praline linger the longest, while the effervescent fizzy note of champagne (much like the real thing) is the first to go.

However, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Much like a champagne-laden night out, Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly by Juicy Couture leaves behind an exciting, faintly sweet, slightly addictive quality that tempts you to get closer.
