Independent watch manufacturer H. Moser & Cie., often considered the enfant terrible of the horological world, has opened its first flagship boutique. Located in the heart of Hong Kong’s financial district and counting the likes of Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet as neighbours, the H. Moser & Cie. flagship boutique deviates from the norm when it comes to interior design.

Eschewing the classic hallmarks of watch boutiques, the H. Moser & Cie. space swaps standard glass display cabinets, straight-backed chairs, and neutral colour schemes in favour of vertical displays, bulbous sofas, and blue colour drenching.
Leading into the striking blue room, there’s also a concrete grey museum setup, with annotated gems like “You know you have 2 centuries of history when your founder was born 3 years before Napolean,” with the style mimicking the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Tutorial released earlier this year.
“Hong Kong is a key market for us,” Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie. told Hypebeast. “We have had a dedicated team based in Hong Kong since 2013, doing a great job to spread the Moser spirit. Our strategy here, like in the rest of the world, is to grow the Moser family, get to know our community as well as possible and provide them with the best level of service.
“We are proud to open our very first boutique, especially in a top location like Pedder Street in Central, and we expect to meet lots of Moser lovers and friends there, reinforcing our relationship with them.”
