“We knew the time was right to create a luxury gaming headset, and our goal with the MG20 was to deliver the exceptional sound and design that Master & Dynamic is known for,” said Jonathan Levine, founder and CEO at Master & Dynamic. “The MG20 will satisfy both the professional and recreational gamer looking for technical performance, sophisticated style and high-quality materials.”

Touted as the world’s first luxury gaming headset, the M&D MG20 headphones are crafted from a combination of magnesium, lambskin leather, and Alcantara, and feature a detachable boom mic for gaming and an additional onboard mic for use during calls as a standard set of headphones. The use of 50mm Beryllium drivers and 7.1 surround sound makes for an immersive gaming experience, with Qualcomm aptX HD support for music and aptX Low-Latency for mobile gaming. The introduction of the MG20 also marks Master & Dynamic’s first use of equaliser presets, available in the M&D app.

The MG20 takes its design cues from the rest of the Master & Dynamic line, employing a clean silhouette that provides it with a sleek appearance for gaming and working alike, with anodized aluminium arms and magnesium earcups ensuring lightweight durability. A cushioned, breathable Alcantara headband and memory foam earpads wrapped in lambskin are designed for comfort during extended gameplay. The Master & Dynamic MG20 Wireless Gaming Headphones come with an impressive 22 hours battery life per charge, with the inclusion of on-head detection working to save battery life when not in use.

Chiefly intended for use with PC and PlayStation, the MG20 headphones are accompanied by a USB-A adaptor which makes switching between devices simple. Meanwhile, Bluetooth 5.0 makes them compatible with any Bluetooth device, so can be used with phones and other devices within a 30m radius.

Priced at $449 USD, the Master & Dynamic MG20 Wireless Gaming Headphones will be available on the Master & Dynamic webstore from 16th November onwards.
