Photographer Kim Keever creates ethereally beautiful images for his ‘Abstract Images’ series using aqua as a medium. Keever drops coloured paint into a 200-gallon aquarium, capturing the fleeting resultant plumes and spirals as the paint disperses. “Timing of the shots is crucial and short-lived, as the process of releasing the dyes and pigments quickly transforms into a random event. It is a very freeing process. I can explore colour and form like never before,” Keever said of the artistic process.
