Termed an ‘anti-voyeuristic’ experience, Myth aims to draw the audience into the production itself by utilising the mediums of performance art, cinematography, music and 3D environments. Spanning 25 minutes, Myth focuses on the fractured love story of Luna (George Maple) and Sol (Jordan Barrett).

“Jordan and I first worked together on the video for my title track Lover (2017) from my debut solo album. We’ve remained close since,” said Maple of the collaboration. “I knew when writing Myth that the male lead needed to be somebody who’s comfortable enough to explore their full range of emotions on set and on camera.”

“It’s so nice to be back in Australia and to be working with George Maple again on this project,” said Barrett, having arrived in Australia last week. Filming for Myth is slated to begin on November 22nd and will take place over four days, ahead of the global premiere at the Sydney Opera House on December 9th.
