Say what you will about Succession’s Roman Roy; he’s immature, rude, egotistical, and often a bully. However, you can’t say he’s not well-dressed. Evidently, Kieran Culkin — the man behind the character — is equally as sartorially savvy, having just been appointed global ambassador for the Zegna Triple Stitch Sneaker.
A mainstay in the luxury Italian fashion house’s offering, the Triple Stitch Sneaker was conceived by Zegna creative director Alessandro Sartori as a leisurewear alternative to conventional dress shoes. Combining versatility and comfort with aesthetics, the Zegna Triple Stitch Sneaker is designed to traverse the style spectrum from casual to formal, and is defined by their leather or suede construction and the trio of crossed laces that give the sneaker its name.
Shot high above New York City, the campaign sees Kieran Culkin don several pairs of the Triple Stitch Sneakers, each complemented by a monochromatic outfit in Zegna’s signature luxury leisurewear style. The pairing between the Succession star and the luxury Italian fashion house is an apt one, with Culkin’s character Roman Roy embodying the slightly irreverant stealth wealth aesthetic Zegna has gravitated towards over the past few years.
His new role as Triple Stitch Sneaker ambassador sees Culkin welcomed into the fold of Zegna’s 232 Community; the brand’s collective of creatives named after the 232 Road in Oasi Zegna.
