Initially conceived by late Louis Vuitton creative director Virgil Abloh, the Aerogram collection derives its name and inspiration from the folded airmail paper that is both a letter and an envelope in one. Taking its design cues from aviation history, the Louis Vuitton Aerogram collection translate key heritage details found in the French fashion house’s classic trunks and brings them into the contemporary era. Now, the latest Aerogram drop caters to the day-to-day traveller, with a new silhouette designed to hold daily essentials.
Joining the Messenger bag, backpack, and Keepall bag is the Messenger Voyage, a bag inspired by the iconic Pochette Voyage. Both the new and existing silhouettes are now available in muted grey, bright orange, and midnight blue colourways, with the shoulder strap, embossed logo, and luggage tag taking shape in the same colour, providing each piece with a distinctly modern feel.
The new Louis Vuitton Aerogram pieces will be available on the Louis Vuitton webstore and in physical stores from early 2022 onwards.
