Born out of an appreciation for slow living, German luxury luggage manufacturer Rimowa has released two new essential colourways that draw inspiration from the wild and wondrous landscapes of Nordic forests. Designed to evoke the sense of calm and comfort associated with a strong connection to nature, the new shade duo has been introduced across the essential suitcase range, Personal Cross-Body Bag, and iPhone cases.

The new shades Pine and Raspberry are intended to emulate the feeling of quiet moments spent in stunning sceneries. The former is a timeless, neutral shade of green that takes its cues from the hues seen on a stroll through the woods. Meanwhile, the latter is an eye-catching shade of pink that conjures up the childhood memory of searching for berries — how bucolic! The hues work in tandem to convey the sense of tranquillity that comes with traversing through expansive Nordic forestry.
Expert colour matching runs across the Essential range. Crafted from premium polycarbonate, everything from the handle and zipper to the badge and wheel housing is bathed in Pine or Raspberry, resulting in a truly monochromatic appearance. Each suitcase also features Rimowa’s stageless telescopic handle and multiwheel system, as well as TSA-approved locks. This seasonal range sees the introduction of a newly updated interior; on one side, a fully zipped compartment houses all your belongings, with a large mesh zipped pocket for additional storage. On the other side, Rimowa’s adjustable flex divider allows travellers to pack more whilst maintaining order during transport.
The Rimowa Personal Cross-Body Bag is crafted from the same grooved polycarbonate as the Essential range; available in Pine, it features a colour-matched leather interior. Rounding out the collection are grooved iPhone cases available for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, both available in Raspberry.
The Pine and Raspberry colourways are priced from $155AUD for the iPhone cases, up to $1870AUD for the Essential Trunk. The collection is available via the Rimowa webstore.
