Heritage luggage brand Rimowa continues to move forward. Designed to complement the brand’s core offering, the Never Still collection applies the German maison’s technical prowess and flair for industrial-inspired design to everyday carry, such as briefcases and backpacks.
Switching out aluminium for nylon, the Rimowa Flap Backpack Large sees the brand’s singular design language executed in a new material. Crafted in Italy, the backpack employs core Rimowa design signatures, with the water-repellent nylon fabric boasting a subtle sheen reminiscent of the brand’s aluminium suitcases and accentuated with the iconic Rimowa grooves, executed through the use of embroidery.
The contemporary appearance of the lightweight backpack is complemented by matte black metal hardware, while utilitarian principles shine through in the padded webbing straps — which allows the bag to be affixed to a Rimowa suitcase — and the matte black leather reinforced bottom panel designed to offer protection when the bag is placed on the floor.
The symmetrical design is rounded out by two grooved nylon zipped side pockets, a travel strap, and comfortable padded back. Inside, the compartmentalised design comprises a 16” laptop pouch, two phone pockets, and a zipped pocket.
