Tapping into the luxuriously understated charm of the Amalfi Coast, Australian label Venroy travels to the Italian seaside to ring in the warmer months in style. Keeping escapism front of mind, the Venroy Spring 2021 introduces a selection of classic yet louche garments that derive inspiration from both the Italian coastline as well as the Romanesque architecture the nation is known for.
Spanning both menswear and womenswear, the Venroy Spring 2021 collection is replete with pieces ideal for a summer escape, from relaxed shirting and lightweight jersey knits to breezy summer dresses and vibrant pops of colour.
Textures draw upon the terrain, referencing the coastline with nautical accents found in crochet drawcords and tape detailing. Fabrics like linen twill provide a more laid back feel, while terry is spotlighted as a core fabric of the season, found in camp collar shirt and short sets, as well as bikinis. Scalloped hemlines call upon elements of Romanesque architecture, with Venroy reinterpreting classic Italian silhouettes for the contemporary Australian.
For womenswear, dresses are primarily crafted from lightweight poplin for an understated warm-weather look, with highlights including a traditional bias cut dress updated in eye-catching lilac and a chartreuse piece with a tie-up back.
