Tudor’s Refreshing Sip Of Coke Satiates A Thirsty Crowd (& More 2024 Releases)

Last year was a Black bay bonanza for Tudor, with the Swiss manufacture adding a slew of new references to the lineup. This year, Tudor has proven it’s the prince of the people; giving horological citizens what its big brother couldn’t. The manufacture has also given the lineup the Midas touch and added an elegant new reference to its underrated Clair de Rose line. Herewith, the new Tudor releases from 2024 we want on our wrists asap.

Black Bay

The flagship Tudor Black Bay has received a subtle refresh. Remaining faithful to the original design, the third generation of the Black Bay sees the 41mm case slightly slimmed out and presented on one of two Tudor T-fit bracelets (three-link ‘rivet style’ or five-link) or a T-fit rubber strap. The five-link is our pick of the bunch, perhaps best speaking to the contemporary tone of this release. The slick black monochromatic colour scheme is sure to be a hit, with the snowflake hands and rhodium-plated hour markers contributing to the timepiece’s decidedly modern feel. It’s powered by the in-house COSC-certified calibre MT5602-U, which features a silicon hairspring and offers 70 hours of power reserve.

Black Bay 58 GMT

Now we’re talking. Tudor has given the thirsty crowd a refreshing sip of coke with the cool new Black Bay 58 GMT. Marking the first time Tudor has added a GMT function to the smaller Black Bay 58 model (the function was previously only available on the 41mm Black Bay), the 39mm timepiece represents an entirely new model. The black and burgundy bezel is complemented by gilt-toned hour markers and hands, while the snowflake hands make the timepiece unmistakably Tudor. The Black Bay 58 GMT comes on either a three-link bracelet or rubber strap — you know the bracelet is the only real choice here. Cheers.

Black Bay 58 18K

If you thought Tudor’s 2024 releases were going to solely fall into the utilitarian category, think again. The Black Bay 58 18K sees the popular model clad entirely in 18 carat yellow gold and paired with a green dial. While the specs are the same as the classic Black Bay 58, the gold and green variant comes with an open caseback, showing off the in-house movement within and speaking to the flashier tone of this piece.

It’s powered by an automatic movement and executed in steel.
