In a year of strange collaborations, Travis Scott x Byredo should come as no surprise. Just when we thought Byredo’s collaboration with Swedish furniture company Ikea was the best thing in the world of scent to come out of 2020, Byredo has – apparently out of nowhere – dropped a collaboration with American rapper Travis Scott.

Titled Space Rage, the Travis Scott x Byredo collaboration takes the form of a candle and an eau de parfum. Both products are outfitted in an otherworldly casing of blue-to-purple glass with Travis Scott’s signature handwriting (though we think Stormi could have done a better job) spelling out ‘Space Rage Travx’. According to Byredo, Space Rage combines notes of cosmic dust, antimatter particles, starlight, atmospheric vapour, and dark nebulae, to create the “scent of Supernova”.
Having never had the pleasure to take a trip to outer space, we’re still a bit dubious on this one. Is anyone from NASA available to comment?
Unfortunately for space lovers, the Travis Scott x Byredo collab is currently sold out, though a restock has been heavily requested.
