Burberry TB Summer Monogram

It’s A Bird! It’s A Plane! No, It’s Burberry’s TB Summer Monogram!

Following a campaign starring supermodel Naomi Campbell and a takeover of Pharrell Williams’ The Goodtime Hotel last month, the Burberry summer continues with a fusion of nature and technology that sees the Burberry TB Summer Monogram cast across a series of scenic landscapes.

Burberry creative director Riccardo Tisci trades in models and clothing for open skies and rocky shores, utilising the power of technology to take the Burberry TB Summer Monogram to beautiful locations around the world. In the skies over Taylor Park Reservoir in Colorado, United States, a drone performance lights up the sky with a giant TB motif, while in Newgale Beach, South Wales, land artist Jon Foreman creates rock sculptures that take on the TB monogram form.

Across the open skies of the Chaka Salt Lake and Wusute in the Qinghai Province in China, paramotors fitted with TB sails take flight, while in Boao and Wanning in the Hainan Province, kite surfers enjoy the waves lifted by monogrammed kites.

‘Basically, my life at this moment is that if I am not on the sea, I must be nearby the sea, waiting for the wind to come,” says kite surfer Wang Lijie. “Unloading the pressure in the cities and jumping into the sea and embracing nature.’

The Burberry TB Summer collection is available via the British fashion house’s webstore.
