Luxury French fashion house Moncler has reunited with American fashion designer Rick Owens for a hyper-specific collaboration. While their last link-up three years ago saw the duo customise a tour bus with upholstered puffy interiors crafted from army blankets for a road trip to Area 51, the latest Moncler x Rick Owens collaboration takes on a more introspective tone.

Sitting in the space somewhere between a cryogenic freezer and a luxury tomb, the Moncler x Rick Owens Sleeping Chamber is a soundproof steel isolation sleeping pod with a regenerative oxygen concentration feature. Lined in organically dyed and recycled nylon — which, naturally, complements an accompanying wardrobe collection from the duo — the sleeping pod is also equipped with a temperature-controlled ventilation system with internal sound, lighting, and video functionalities as well as refrigerated storage.
Making its debut at Olympia London on Hammersmith Road, the Moncler x Rick Owens Sleeping Chamber will be available to order through Owenscorp Furniture Divsion, for the brand’s top clients.
