Sweating, But Make It Fashion With HermèsFit

Appalled by the sheer gaucherie of working out? French luxury fashion house Hermès has proposed a pleasant antidote to public gyms devoid of decor and crowded running tracks in the form of HermèsFit.

Offering exercise with a twist, Hermès Gym is a bespoke activation that has popped up in Paris, Tokyo, New York, and Bangkok. Coming to Sydney at The Hordern Pavilion from the 14th to 16th of October, HermèsFit is a unique way to break a sweat. Within a space clad in the signature Hermès shade of orange, guests can work on their balance with the assistance of a silk carré in Silk Yoga or stretch out their limbs using a leather belt in Belt Stretching. The Hat Balance Challenge lets you prove your stability by keeping your hat on while the Small Leather Goods Workout sees participants clutch Kelly wallets and other leather accessories during their sweat session.

In the evening, the central boxing ring — complete with punching bags decked out with silk carré prints — will transform into a stage for live concerts and performances. Meanwhile, the competitive-minded can partake in a friendly game of ping pong.

HermèsFit is open to the public from the 14th to 16th of October, with classes available to book on the Hermès website.
