Southern Californian custom shop Gunther Works has unveiled their latest commission; a custom Irish Green 993-generation Porsche 911. As with all their projects, Gunther Werks starts off with a standard 933-generation 911, strips it of all its nuts and bolts, leaving nothing but the frame behind.

Then, the SoCal company reassembles the vehicle with upgraded parts as required. The fixation on the 933-generation 911 – all of which were built from 1994 to 1998 – stems from them being the last Porchshes to feature an air-cooled flat-six engine.
For the Gunther Werks Irish Green Porsche 911 commission, the reimagining entailed outfitting the 911 with custom carbon fibre body panels and replacing the interiors with a combination of tan leather and charcoal Alcantara, as well as exposed carbon fibre; a colour combination that complements the 911’s striking green exterior. On the outside, the green shade is broken up by black racing stripes along the centre of the vehicle and a muted gold stripe fitted with a Porsche decal that matches the shade of the rims.
The Gunther Werks Irish Green 993-generation Porsche 911 is powered by a 4.0-litre flat-six that produces 435 hp and 335 ft-lbs of torque. Gunther Werks’ loyalty to a stick shift extends to the Irish Green commission, which features Brembo brakes and JRZ suspension.
