Louis Vuitton x Urs Fischer Collection Sees The LV Monogram Take On Distored Proportions

Urs Fischer and Louis Vuitton continue their alliance with a new monogram heavy collection. The Swiss contemporary artist is no stranger to collabs with the French luxury fashion house, and was one of six artists to work on a limited edition Louis Vuitton ArtyCapucine bag, which saw the Capucines BB silhouette adorned with a wax produce sculpture; either an egg, a green apple, a banana, a mushroom, a carrot, or a strawberry.

The latest Louis Vuitton x Urs Fischer collection sees the instantly recognisable LV logo in Urs Fischer’s contemporary style; the hand-drawn logo is softened around the edges and takes on blown-up proportions, providing it with a surreal, almost dreamlike feel. The Louis Vuitton x Urs Fischer collection is centred around the distorted LV monogram, with the design coming in black/red and black/white colourways. The collection will take its way onto several classic Louis Vuitton silhouettes –  Keepall, Cabas, Onthego, Neverfull, Speedys, and Pochettes Accessories – as well as sneakers and apparel including a puffer jacket, jogging bottoms, and dresses.

The collection will be available on the Louis Vuitton webstore and instore from the 1st January, 2021.
