Swedish men’s luxury brand CDLP has teamed up with Parisian floral print and design house Beaude Studio, with the latter designing a range of custom prints for the latest CDLP SS22 Pool and Swim collection.

In a fortuitous turn of events, Beaude Studio founder Ashley Boer and CDLP design director Ingrid Guttormsen happened to have been friends for over a decade, resulting in a truly organic collaboration. Led by intuition, the prints draw inspiration from vintage scarves, mosaics, and architectural details from CDLP’s Stockholm atelier. Merging funky prints with a vivid colour palette, the patterns take on abstract and overlapping forms to create the aptly named La Fleur, La Fête, and Le Tigre prints.
The prints adorn four styles; long sleeve and short sleeve shirts, pool shorts, and swim shorts. The poolside styles are crafted from Ecovero, a viscose fiber made from renewable woods, while the swim style is made from CDLP’s signature Econyl, a breathable nylon fabric made from plastic recovered from oceans and landfills.
The collection is available via the Boys Don’t Cry and CDLP webstores.
