Paris Saint-Germain Footballer Kylian Mbappé Is The New Face Of Dior

Earlier this year Dior was announced as the official tailor of Paris Saint-Germain, with the duo set to partner for the next two seasons. Now, the luxury French fashion house has strengthened its foothold in the football industry, appointing Kylian Mbappé as its newest ambassador. At just 22-years-old, Mbappé has cemented himself as a force to be reckoned with on the pitch, with his credentials impressing the forces that be at Dior.

Mbappé joins the likes of Johnny Depp, Anya-Taylor Joy, and Robert Pattinson as global ambassador of Dior, representing both the men’s collections designed by creative director Kim Jones and Dior Sauvage. The PSG striker shared the news via Instagram, stating that “I am delighted to announce that I am now officially part of Maison Dior. Can’t wait to share our collaborations in men’s fashion and Sauvage fragrance.”

Naturally, the luxury French fashion house echoed the sentiment. “The house of Dior is particularly happy to welcome Kylian Mbappé, with whom it shares the same values of exacting standards and generosity,” Dior shared in a press release. Off the pitch, Mbappé is also known for his charitable work, supporting sporting initiatives for hospitalised youth through the Premiers de Cordée association and starting his own Inspired by KM association, launched with the mission of helping children reach their goals.
