While pleas for a new album from Rihanna have been sounding consistently since 2016, the past few months have made way for new rumours surrounding the Barbadian singer. Following much speculation over a potential pregnancy, singer Rihanna and rapper A$AP Rocky have announced that they are indeed dropping the ultimate collaboration, with the duo expecting their first child together.

Announcing the news in a very Rihanna-esque way, images emerged of the couple strolling down the streets of Harlem, New York – A$AP Rocky’s hometown – in a photoshoot lensed by photographer Miles Diggs. Posed under the Williamsburg bridge, the duo are depicted holding hands and laughing. Despite the frigid weather and noticeable snow surrounding the pair, both A$AP Rocky and Rihanna are wearing their outerwear nonchalantly unbuttoned. Whilst Rocky’s denim jacket makes way to reveal a knit hoodie styled over leather jeans, Rihanna’s vintage Chanel puffer coat opens onto her bare baby bump. Not one to leave her future offspring unbedazzbled, Rih Rih sports several gold necklaces with gemstone and pearl decals in addition to a Chanel belt worn around her jeans.
Congrats to the happy couple, the upcoming Fenty Baby™ is sure to be the coolest kid on any block.
