Fusing Timberland’s outdoor heritage with icebreaker’s “move to natural” ethos, the capsule collection aims to connect urban and natural environments, through a collection laden with pieces designed to effortlessly traverse from the concrete jungle to the great outdoors, and back again.

“Collaborating with Timberland felt like a natural step — two brands united by a commitment to do better,” says Jelena Fursman, global design manager at icebreaker. “This collection combines icebreaker’s natural fibers and soft geometry design lines with Timberland’s iconic heritage aesthetic — enabling us to create versatile, timeless, durable pieces for the outdoors and urban adventures.”

icebreaker’s signature New Zealand-sourced merino wool appears across the entirety of the apparel selection, with the incorporation of hard wearing linen and cotton speaking to Timberland’s rugged style. Nature- and workwear-inspired colourways of Wheat Boot, Vibrant Earth, Sand, Chalk, and Onyx/Black speak to the design codes of both brands, while apparel silhouettes nod to Timberland’s workwear legacy.

Spanning menswear and womenswear, the apparel selection includes chino shorts, t-shirts, a polo top for men, and a tank top for women. The indisputable hero of the collection is the Merino Cotton Jacket — available in men’s and women’s styles, it’s crafted from a durable cotton canvas blend that offers high-abrasion resistance, and pairs with the chino shorts for a coordinated hiking look.

On the footwear front, the Trailquest Low Waterproof Sneakers are — as the name suggests — completely waterproof. Constructed from leather, ReBOTL fabric — made from recycled plastic — and bio-based materials, the sturdy silhouette is able to tackle the mountains while also lending itself to street style ‘fits.

The Timberland x icebreaker collection is now available via the icebreaker webstore.
