Juergen Teller Captures Icy Elegance For Saint Laurent

In the latest Saint Laurent campaign captured by German photographer Juergen Teller, clean lines and sharp silhouettes make an apt fit for solitude in a cool climate. Art directed by Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello, models Freja Beha Erichsen and Awar Odhiang are strong and self-assured in the Winter collection.

Masculine silhouettes are reinterpreted through a feminine lens; suits with peak lapels and sharp shoulders take on a sense of fluidity, gently caressing the body while a gown features a nipped-in waistline complemented by dramatic shoulders.

The campaign deviates from Teller’s signature raw and often unglamourous style, instead finding beauty in water, concrete, and ice. The cool tones and harsh edges of the landscape mirror the collection, with the interplay of water against immovable concrete reflecting the discourse between masculine and feminine silhouettes.
