Lily James Transforms Into A Goth Girl For Versace

Pam has left the building.

British actress Lily James has nailed her most unlikely role yet; a goth girl. Starring in the Versace FW22/23 campaign, the Pam & Tommy actress has showcased her transformational abilities, with the former blonde bombshell dying her locks black and bleaching her eyebrows platinum blonde.

While the British actress has already shown a penchant for Versace, wearing gowns by the luxury Italian fashion house to both the Met Gala and Oscars, both looks — a beaded lilac gown and a lacy light pink dress with a slit, respectively — have sat definitively within James’ glamorous-yet-safe style. Shot by photographic duo Mert & Marcus, the Versace FW22/23 campaign marks a stylistic departure for James.

The first campaign image sees James don a black sleeveless dress with corsetry boning, paired with elbow-length black latex gloves. James clutches a Versace Greca Goddess bag above her head, with the gold hardware on the bag complemented by matching gold Greca bracelets. Another image sees James in a long red dress with sheer boning detailing, styled with red latex boots.
