Ugandan-Canadian actress Whitney Peak has been announced as the new face of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle fragrance. An apt choice for the youthful and vibrant fragrance, the 20-year-old actress is best known for her roles in the Gossip Girl reboot and Hocus Pocus 2.

Peak’s new role as the face of Coco Mademoiselle follows a two-year relationship with the French luxury fashion house. She was named a local ambassador in March 2021 before starring in the Chanel 22 bag campaign alongside Lily-Rose Depp and Margaret Qualley in March the following year.
“Honestly, I never dreamed I’d get the attention of such a reputable house, let alone the pleasure of working with and representing them,” Peak said of her appointment as the face of Coco Mademoiselle. “I’m looking forward to showing how versatile and timeless Chanel is.”
A fresh, amber floral fragrance, Coco Mademoiselle holds its own in the Chanel scent stable. With notes of orange, bergamot, rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, patchouli, and vetiver, it represents a youthful scent when compared to Chanel powerhouses like N°5, Coco, and Allure. Soft, citrusy, and clean, it remains a timelessly modern fragrance over two decades after its debut.
