Conceived by family-owned Edwardian Hotels London group, The Londoner was designed in collaboration with world-renowned architectural designers Yabu Pushelberg. Despite comprising 350 guest rooms across 16 storeys, The Londoner was created with intimacy in mind, working alongside Yabu Pushelberg to create spaces that feel authentically connected to the vibrant location of Leicester Square it inhabits. With half of the hotel lying below ground level, The Londoner is somewhat of an iceberg, creating one of the deepest habitable basements in the world.

In addition to an array of guest room styles including penthouse suites, The Londoner features two private screening rooms, an exclusive 24-hour residents’ space, a floor dedicated to wellness, expansive ballroom, private art gallery, several meeting places, and a mix of concept eateries. The latter includes Whitcomb;s, a Mediterranean restaurant; 8, a contemporary Japanese lounge bar with a rooftop terrace and fire pit; and Joshua’s Tavern, a neighbourhood bar.
Dubbed a ‘luxury urban resort’, the hotel utilises a neutral colour palette and takes on a contemporary British sensibility, with nods to British humour abound. While large in scale, The Londoner takes a sustainable approach to luxury, measured against (and exceeding) the BREEAM Excellent category in building environmental and sustainable performance.
